AutoWIKIAt this stage, co-founders need to be jacks-of-all-trades, if they aren't already. Even so, these are the areas of expertise we believe would help us most.
Right now
Marketing
Marketing strategy and strategic partnership negotiation.
Visual design and UX
Mobile app and website design, graphic design.
Audio UX
Platform and content development for traditional audio media such as AM/FM radio, or newer media such as podcasts. Knowledge of applications for visually impaired users is a big asset.
Travel content creation
Content writers at any level with travel experience, as a hobby or professionally.
Customer success
Help us set up a user help desk, recommend a ticketing system, and work with our product team on known-issue documentation.
Legal
General counsel to help us create agreements for co-founders, strategic partners and end users. We aim to recognise contributions fairly, as described in Mike Moyer's Slicing Pie.
DevOps and engineering
Mobile and server-side development. Experience with Swift, Kotlin, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, PHP, MySQL, cloud platforms, iOS and Android is an asset.
All our opportunities require the ability to communicate in English, but this doesn't rule out using a translation tool to work with us asynchronously. We will make every effort to accommodate people who cannot communicate verbally in English.
After funding
As we reach our funding targets, we expect to hire across engineering (software, cloud, data science and QA), content (writing, video, graphic design and content management), product, marketing, finance, HR, legal and client support.
